Gallwey has been promoting his thinking approach called "The Inner Game" for the last twenty years. He came up with a formula: P (performance) = P (potential) - I (interferences). Gallwey and Whitmore cooperated and created one of the basic working tools for coaching. This concise system of questions connected with other methods of leadership is called GROW /Goals, Reality, Options, Will/. It depend on what phase is the client in during coaching. A coach using these methods guides a client to answering and making clear in his or her goals, visions or projects and then finding a way how to acomplish them.
